Strain Background: W303 (see detailed notes from Rodney Rothstein and Stephan Bartsch for the W303 strain used in the study)
Phenotype(s): Temperature(Heat) Sensitive

Impairing Ipl1p function restores chromosome attachment in the mtw1-1 mutant , suggesting that Ipl1p promotes the turnover of improper kinetochore-microtubule interactions. [6] [7]
