A couple of comments on interactions of proteins with Ypt1:
 +
    1) TRS130 was incorrectly listed here as interacting with Ypt1 by yeast-2-hybrid. The reference listed (Morozova et al 2006) actually uses Ypt1 as a negative control for interaction between TRS130 and YPT31.

    2) Trs20 and Trs33 were not shown to DIRECTLY interact with Ypt1. The reference for this interaction (Wang et al 2000) includes the following experiment: purified Ypt1 was incubated with yeast lysates, and the product of the pulldowns were probed with anti-Trs20 or anti-Trs33 antibodies. In this case, the interactions could be (and probably are) indirect.

Description of YFL038C: Rab family GTPase, involved in the ER-to-Golgi step of the secretory pathway; complex formation with the Rab escort protein Mrs6p is required for prenylation of Ypt1p by protein geranylgeranyltransferase type II (Bet2p-Bet4p)[1][2]
