Description of YDR113C: Securin that inhibits anaphase by binding separin Esp1p, also blocks cyclin destruction and mitotic exit, essential for cell cycle arrest in mitosis in the presence of DNA damage or aberrant mitotic spindles; also present in meiotic nuclei[1][2][3]
