EGAN (Exploratory Gene Association Networks) is a downstream analysis/pathway/gene set enrichment/visualization tool for -omics experiment results. It is intended for use by bench biologists that may find it difficult to use Cytoscape and its myriad plug-in applications. A pre-collated network for yeast with protein-protein interactions, literature co-occurrence and gene sets from KEGG, Gene Ontology, PANTHER, etc. was created and released on August 12th, 2010.
