Description of BLM1: Required for resistance to bleomycin, ionizing radiation and oxidative damage by hydrogen peroxide; mutants display slow growth and abnormal morphology; homozygous mutant has reduced spore viability; bleomycin resistance suppressed by MSH4;[1][2][3]
