Procedures
- Dilute the ethanol with the equations below
- Making the ethanol
- 50% = 100 ul of H2O to 100 ul of ethanol
- 33.3% =133.4 ul of H2O to 66.6 ul of ethanol
- 22.2% =155.5 ul of H2O to 44.4 ul of ethanol
- 18.5% =163 ul of H20 to 37 ul of ethanol
- 15.4% = 169.2 ul of H2O to 20.8ul of ethanol
- 12.8% = 174 ul to 25.6ul of ethanol
- 10% = 180 ul to 20ul of ethanol
- 8.8% = 182.4 ul to 17.6ul of ethanol
- 7.4% = 185.2 ul to 14.8ul of ethanol
- 4.9% = 190 ul to 9.6ul of ethanol
- 3.2% =193 ul to 6.4 ul of ethanol
- 1% = 198 ul to 2 ul of ethanol
- Using the wield type yeast place into well plates with 50ul of yeast solution and 50ul of diluted ethanol
Wield type of yeast
Yeast Knockout strain
Procedure
- Dilute the ethanol with the equations below
- Making the ethanol
- 18.5% =163 ul of H20 to 37 ul of ethanol
- Using the wield type yeast place into well plates with 50ul of yeast solution and 50ul of diluted ethanol
