Description of YDR310C: Transcriptional repressor required for mitotic repression of middle sporulation-specific genes; also acts as general replication initiation factor; involved in telomere maintenance, chromatin silencing; regulated by pachytene checkpoint[1][2][3][4][5][6]

Interactions

Physical

Physical interaction with Hst1
Sum1, a repressor of middle meiotic genes, was found to interact with Hst1 by coimmunoprecipitation. A neomorphic allele of Sum1 (Sum1-1) also interacts with Hst1. Hst1 is a histone deacetylase, and it is required for repression of some Sum1 targets. [7] [8]
